These are the x'mas & b'day presents I received for this year. The DKNY watch is a b'day present I bought for myself, the GUESS wallet is a gift from my 2nd sis, the cookbook is a gift from my elder sis, the necklace is from my niece and my mum gave me a red packet.

My Tiramisu

I have made Tiramisu on last weekend. This time round I made into swiss roll form. 1 recipe I made into 2 different type of Tiramisu, 1 is swiss roll tiramisu and the other is Tiramisu cake. I made mocca sponge cake and spread with the Tiramisu cream. Looks Delicious :P

Carrot Cake

Have made a new carrot cake recipe on last Saturday, I made 2 trays, 1 with the cheese topping and the other without, as not many of my family members like to eat the cheese. Overall thinks the carrot cake quite nice, except my little niece do not like it, maybe is because of the cinnamon and clove smell.

Light Cheese cake

Made this Light cheese cake on last Sunday. It can be said quite successful, but just feel it is a bit miost. This is the 2nd cheese cake I made on that day. The first cheese cake turns out too soft, maybe I shouldn't immediate take out from the tray, so the second one I let it cool down first before taking out and it turns out quite nice. So learn from my lesson, maybe for cheesecake should not immediately take out, should let it set first, if not too soft to handle.

My trip to Colmar Tropical

I went to Colmar Tropical also known as Berjaya Hill on last friday - 08/08/08. It is a 3 days 2 nights trip to Colmar Tropical and Berjaya Times Sqare (KL). I have always wanted to go Colmar Tropical, after a few years, this year I finally got a chance to go there. The place is not big, can be said quite small actually, there are a Japanese Village, Botanical Garden, Rabbit Park and a Horse Trail, other then the Horse Trail, I went to the other 3 places, nothing much to do there too. It is quite ok for a night stay, if staying for long sure will get bored ^_^

Kaya Swirl Cupcake

Today I have made a cupcake base on newspaper recipe, it is call Kaya Swirl Cupcakes. It is actually a very simple cupcake, you just have to put some kaya on top of the cupcake and swirl it in using a toothpick. After making a tray, I decided to do something different with the remaining batter, so I put some chocolate rice on top of the cupcake, then it become chocolate rice cupcake ^_ ^. It is actually quite soft, and cause the top coat with Kaya, therefore the top more sweeter. The kaya I used is light brown colour, therefore, can't see the swirl very clearly, if use those green colour kaya maybe will look nicer. If use colouring to do some pattern or write word on the cupcake, don't know will it look more nicer leh?

Egg Tarts

Yesterday have made some egg tarts, 1st attempts, quite successful, just that the tart a bit thick and the egg filling not much, overall still ok, will improve on that, maybe next time can try to do fruit tarts :)

Counting Down to my Adelaide....

Still got 18 more days to go Adelaide, so excited... This is the 2nd trips that I have been arranging everything myself, airtickets, accomodation & tours, all online booking, that's the benefit of internet. The 1st time was last year went to Bali with friends, I booked the airtickets and accomodation online too. Hope this trip will not disappoint me, I looking forward to enjoy my long holiday. I have booked tour to Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, Victor Harbour, Murray River and Kangaroo Island, the picture is from kangaroo island, look very nice, hope can take a photo of it when I visit there.

My New Pau and Cinnamon Roll

I have made Pau and Cinnamon Roll yesterday. It is my first attempts, quite successful, just that the filling inside the Pau not very delicious, will improve on that. As for the Cinnamon Roll, think made too big liao hahaha, and not fragrance enough on the cinnamon, will add more next time. So next time can use the same recipe to make into other type of Pau and Breads.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day, as usual no date, but I received a stalk of flower from a good friend and have dinner with friends last night. Valentine are not only meant for couples, but also friends and family, but to me, it is just another ordinary day, a day that better stay at home, cos cannot stand suddenly the whole street full of lovely couples, singles like me become very odd hahahaha...
